Rodeo de Galisteo 2009 - Saturday & Sunday,

July 18th and 19th. Start 1pm.

Rodeo Parade - Saturday July 18th at 11am.

Parade participants will meet at the Community Center at 10:30AM

Rodeo Admission: $10 Adults, $5 Kids age 4-10, age 3 and under, FREE.

There are still places in the southwest where one can go to escape life in the 21st century and take a step back in time to the true legacy of the West. Galisteo, New Mexico is one of those places and the Rodeo de Galisteo is one of the few remaining rodeos that is a true representation of the American rodeo and the rodeo heritage.

Our family rodeo was started by Rudy Sena in Galisteo thirty-seven years ago. A fun event for the whole family, with all the traditional rodeo competitions, and great green chile burgers as well. Below is the 2007 t-shirt design by Cara Lee.
